As 2011 is coming to a close, the members of Zion are continuously going out into the world to preach the gospel, and the Bible prophecy that the gospel will be preached in Samaria and to the ends of the earth is rapidly being fulfilled. With the complete fulfillment of this prophecy just around the corner, a Church event to help ignite the fire of world evangelism was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute on November 20. It was the “Resolution Rally for World Mission With the 56th Overseas Visiting Group.” This event was attended by over 12,000 members including young adult members and married male members from all over the country and about 200 members of the 56th Overseas Visiting Group from North and South America.
Even before the event started, the atmosphere of the institute was heating up. As the Korean members shouted out loud, “We love you!” to the 56th Overseas Visiting Group members when they entered the main building, the overseas members shouted out in return, “We love you!” and “Animo (Cheer up)!” Through this shouting, they shared the joy of meeting each other. Amid the warm love of the heavenly family, the commemoration service for the first part of the event started.

Mother began Her prayer by giving thanks to Father for this event to be held for the children, the overseas visiting group members and the Korean members—young adult members and married male members, so that they could get together and feel deeply moved by the Holy Spirit. She also thanked Her children in Korea and overseas for working hard to preach the gospel even in this time of economic hardship and prevalent disasters. Additionally, She expressed Her desire for all Her children to enter their heavenly home together, comforting them with these words, “Now the hopeful future is coming soon when you will inherit the beautiful kingdom of heaven where there is no pain or fatigue. So, have hope for heaven and cheer up!”

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim stated the purpose of this resolution rally and asked the members to live their one and only life for the most valuable work of saving the lives of all people around the world including their neighbors, not only for their own salvation. Then he urged them, saying, “Salvation is the most necessary thing for human beings in this age when disasters are rampant. Let’s go out into the world with the same mindset as that of the Good Samaritan and preach the gospel―the good news that contains the promise of salvation—to those who are in crisis” (Zep 1:14-18; 2 Pe 3:8-12; Mt 28:18-20). Saying this, he expressed his hope for them to strive to preach the gospel, so that the great work of salvation for the whole world would quickly be accomplished.

After the worship service, the second part of the event started with various celebration performances to help the members reaffirm their resolution for overseas mission. The pastoral staff, who had been on the front line of the gospel, opened the second part of the event with a choir performance. They sang the song titled “Jerusalem” with full vigor. After the choir performance of the prophets, the 56th Overseas Visiting Group sang the new song “Let’s Go to the World,” radiating their fervor for the gospel.

It was followed by the magnificent performances of the Messiah Orchestra and the Men’s Quartet; their majestic and beautiful harmony touched the hearts of the members, especially the overseas visiting group who visited Korea after much difficulty, Then the members watched a video; they saw the status of the gospel in each country through the messages sent from the Churches overseas. The video awakened their sleeping souls and helped them realize what prophetic time this age was in which they were living, by showing them the status of world evangelism―the gospel was being rapidly preached to all parts of the world, even to every corner of each island country, as the Churches in each country were bringing forth the gospel workers who would boldly testify to the Spirit and the Bride and were actively carrying out their mission activities in nearby cities and even in neighboring countries.

A musical play “Teachings of Mother” by the children’s choir wittily depicted the meanings of 13 Teachings of Mother through the acts of some Biblical figures and delivered a profound lesson: Putting the Teachings of Mother into practice is preparing spiritual oil. Then a Biblical play titled “The Judgment of Solomon started,” which showed Solomon’s wisdom to discern the true mother from the false one and reminded the members of the heart of the true Mother who tries to save Her children’s life—the love of Heavenly Mother.
For the last part of the event, a video titled “A Day of Mother” was displayed: Mother works without rest every day from early in the morning till late at night―even while everyone is sleeping; She reads the numerous letters from Her children one by one, listens to every request from them, and takes care of all Her children around the world—from children to adults. Watching the video depicting the everyday life of Mother, all the members became solemn. As they saw the sacrifice of Mother, which they had vaguely understood, with their own eyes even just a little bit, they deeply realized that each day of Mother was a time of sacrifice for the salvation of Her children. Then they pledged themselves to shine Mother’s love and glory brightly to the whole world, as the stars of Mother.
After the event, Mother reminded Her children again of the heavenly kingdom, where unimaginable comfort and joy are waiting for them. Then She blessed them to lead many souls, who did not yet know the beautiful heavenly world, to Zion, instead of setting their hearts on their lives as strangers on this earth―which are like a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes, so that their name would shine forever and ever.

Then all the members stood up and powerfully sang the new song titled “Let’s Go to the World” together, which contains a desire for the completion of world evangelism. This was the grand finale of the resolution rally.

Even after the event, the adult male members were still overwhelmed with emotions, and they expressed their firm resolution as the mature sons of God, saying, “The scenes of Mother’s sacrifice will remain in our hearts forever. Whenever we saw brothers and sisters going abroad to preach, we just envied them. Now we want to go out into the world to proclaim Mother’s love and sacrifice for us.” A young adult member, who was preparing for a short-term mission to Mexico, expressed his will, saying, “Overseas members are flying to Korea to see Mother and Korean members are flying overseas to preach Mother. So, the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled very quickly. I am sure that the completion of the Heavenly Jerusalem can take place right away—it is not really like a dream at all. Just as Apostle Paul considered his life worth nothing to him in order to fulfill the mission of the gospel, I will devote all my heart and strength to accomplishing my gospel mission.”

Sister Samantha from the Manhattan Church in New York, USA, was surprised and amazed to see Korean members’ will to go into all the world to preach the gospel, and she reaffirmed her resolution, saying, “The Churches in New York also have a goal to establish Zion in every region of the eastern United States. Since Mother is with us, it will certainly be done. We will accomplish this mission given to us without fail, being united with one another.”

Now the earth is in a serious crisis because of so many disasters including earthquakes, abnormal climate changes and wars which are occurring all around the world. The world is waiting for a warm helping hand to save them. The good news of salvation, which all human beings are waiting for, is Heavenly Mother. Today, like every other day, Mother is anxiously praying for the dying souls and spending a day of sacrifice for their salvation. Who will go into the world for Mother who is so anxious to save the whole world?
