Every year, over 1,000 members from all over the world come into the arms of the Heavenly Jerusalem, like clouds, like doves to their nests; each visiting group consists of 200-300 members. As a large number of overseas members visited Korea each time, it required a place that could accommodate them all and could also afford to provide Bible education for them at the same time. Just in time, a large auxiliary institute of the Church of God was established in a region near the WMC Head Office building (located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si). It is the Dongbaek Institute which is situated in Dongbaek District, Yongin City.
On December 15, the worship service celebrating the Dongbaek Institute Opening Ceremony was held, being attended by over 500 pastoral staff members from throughout the country. Mother shared the joy of holding the opening ceremony for the newly established Dongbaek Institute with the prophets who had been working hard for the gospel. She gave thanks to Father for allowing them to have the meaningful meeting so that they would receive the wisdom to lead God’s flock through the Holy Spirit, and then She personally delivered a sermon entitled “A man reaps what he sows.”
Mother repeatedly asked them to wake up and to quickly peach the good news of salvation—the Passover which is the way to eat the food of eternal life—to all people in this sorrowful age overflowing with disastrous news from all over the world. Through the parable of the rich man and the beggar Lazarus, She also inspired them by saying, “Rather than just pursuing comfortable physical lives, forgetting the hope for heaven, try to live moderate and humble lives by enduring hardships for the sake of the gospel to save even one more soul, so that you can all receive comfort and blessings from Father in the kingdom of heaven.” Then Mother blessed them to reap the fruit of the Spirit by earnestly preaching the gospel with the love of Father who had willingly come to this earth even twice to seek His children and with the heart of the good Samaritan who gave everything he had to save the life of a dying man (Gal 6:6-8; Lk 16:19-25; Ro 8:16-18; Rev 22:12).

The Dongbaek Institute took its first step as an institution for the gospel, which provides opportunities to learn the will of the Holy Spirit and to cultivate good Christian character. The main building of the institute is a four-story building; it has two assembly halls capable of seating 500-600 people, 10 lecture halls, a cafeteria and a rest area. The three-story annex connected to the main building is used for accommodation. The Dongbaek Institute, which offers ideal conditions for studying the Bible, will be a gracious cradle of the gospel; whoever visits there will receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit and proclaim the love of Father and Mother to the whole world.
