On July 15, the Church of God in Phoenix, AZ, USA, held a life-saving event. It was the “126th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover.”
The Churches of God all around the world carry out regular blood drives, imitating the love of God who has established the Passover through His precious blood of sacrifice to save human beings. The blood drive held this day was the second one hosted by the Phoenix Church this year.
Over 160 people, including the Church members, their families and relatives, gathered together with one mind to give life. Though not all of them could donate blood because there was not enough time, 74 people were able to donate blood successfully.

A staff member, who had been working at a blood center for eleven years, rejoiced a lot, saying, “Though we’ve met so many people, the Church of God members are exceptionally devotional and passionate in saving lives. It’s also really impressive to see you help and encourage one another. I am so grateful to be able to work together with you.”
The Arizona Blood Center notified the Church of God in Phoenix that they would present the Church with the “Hero Award,” which is granted to an individual or a group that has saved many lives by donating blood.
