At 3 P.M. on November 11, each association of the Churches of God in Korea held the “Young Adult Bible Seminar 2012.” This seminar was held at the main Churches of God in Korea in order to make known the existence and the need of God the Mother in this age. The total of attendees in 48 associations reached about 20,000 people including the 1,200 people who gathered at the New Jerusalem Temple from the Gyeonggi-Seongnam Association.
The Young Adult Bible Seminar proceeded with the presentation of various objective materials like press reports, assorted study materials, statistics, photos, videos, and much more. The young adult group of the Church of God planned and prepared, and took on the roles of presiding and presenting as well. Before the presentation, young adult members performed a fresh and upbeat song, a lively dance, a musical performance and other performances.
The seminar consisted of three subjects. Under the subject, “Feminism and God the Mother,” the first team explained that recently phenomenon regarding women’s rights, which were suppressed in the past and now extended, is much related with the appearance of God the Mother. The subject of the second team was “Mother, the Peacemaker of the Earth.” Presenters pointed out that just as a mother mediates children’s conflict in a family, God the Mother is absolutely necessary as a peacemaker [trouble shooter] in the global village where various disputes are getting worse, and showed a report video about Mother’s work to make the world peaceful. Lastly, under the subject, “The World Changes Through Mother,” the presenters spotlighted the people running into the arms of Heavenly Jerusalem
from the world, and proved that the power that gives peace and safety to the whole world comes from God the Mother.
This day, about 6,000 people, including the Church of God members and their families, neighbors and acquaintances who had interest in the Church of God and God the Mother, listened to the seminar carefully. Most participants said, “The thought that there is only God the Father is a stereotype. It was a very beneficial time to think about God the Mother.” Andrew, 29, who is an English teacher from the United States, attended the seminar held at the New Jerusalem Temple in Bundang and said, “I felt good to know the hopeful message toward the world that is in conflict and dispute, and I could also understand about God the Mother through common sense.” A housewife named Heo Myeong-suk, 44, who visited the Yeongdeungpo Church in Seoul said, “It was good to see the church members
volunteer to help our unfortunate neighbors as if they were their own families. I’d like to learn the love of God the Mother, and join them if I have a chance.”
While the global village becomes agitated due to enmity and dispute, God the Mother who embraces all people with love is the very one whom all humankind should long for and seek. Concluding the seminar, the presiders emphasized, “Since God the Mother is with us, all the activities of the Church of God will make the world peaceful,” and hoped that all people who have not received peace, stability and consolation in the world will realize the world of peace and love by coming towards God the Mother.
