On September 9 and 12, Second Quarter 2004 Awarding Ceremony for Gospel Fruit Bearers was held at the Elohim and Okcheon Training Institutes, succeeding the first awarding ceremony in June. It was to settle the gospel work nationwide and worldwide from June to August, and to award the members who led many souls to the way of life.
At this ceremony, a special program was added to celebrate Mother for Her receiving the order of sport merit from the Korean government on August 25. All the participants gave glory to God at the scene where the God's prophecy was being fulfilled; they were all full of emotions like the Israelites who praised God's power, seeing the Red Sea being divided.
Dreaming heavenly awarding parade in the universe
On September 9, women members and individual church had the awarding ceremony at the Elohim Training Institute. On September 12, men, youths and students had the ceremony at the Okcheon Training Institute. Before the main awarding ceremony was held, the participants watched a video film showing the precious enlightenment of the members who strived to bear much fruit during the first quarter.
The awardees enjoyed being rewarded through the awardees' parade; during the second quarter, they'd devoted themselves to seeking the lost heavenly family day and night. The marching band preceded the parade with swinging rhythms and then the standard-bearers led the awardees to the awarding ground. The awardees who belonged to 29 Korean Associations and 6 Overseas Associations entered the ground in ranks, holding yellow balloon representing fruit. The other members applauded them wholeheartedly.
During the ceremony, Mother gave awards to the sisters from abroad. They realized God's love and preached the gospel, being moved by the Holy Spirit, so that they led many souls into God's arms under difficult circumstances. They showed a good example to the Korean brothers and sisters.
The overseas sisters were deeply touched and said, We don't know how to thank God for He let us be here and moreover gave great prizes. When we go back, we will deliver Mother's love to the members there and also will spread Her love over the people who don't know Her.
This time, many placards with peculiar words and various events of unique styles appeared; the participants made gestures and sang songs, taking the angel's wing or wearing uniforms. This showed our members' passion for the gospel. And the delegations from 35 Korean and overseas associations presented Mother with a bunch of flowers in celebration of receiving an order from the Korean government.
Mother complimented all Her children who made every effort to bear fruit during the hot summer period, and gave the word from the book of Galatians: Following the example of Christ, bear the fruit of the Spirit-love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Then, you will glorify God and your names will shine in heaven forever. If I' am changed, all are changed. Don't blame others, but only try to change myself.' I hope you always receive your brothers and sisters with a warm smile and consideration, that you may be united and participate in the divine nature. Thus, Mother emphasized smile, unity, humility,' patience,' once again,
It was a result of obedience to God's word that they bore much fruit and received many awards. In the third quarter, too, the gospel workers will practice God's love to their neighbors more and lead the lost heavenly family to the righteous by practicing the word of God.
