India has so many Hindu gods and goddesses. About 80% of the population is Hindu, and they say that there are more gods than people and more temples than people's houses.

The images of Hindu gods and goddesses are odd: Brahma has 4 arms and 4 faces, Vishnu also has 4 arms, and Shiva, a god of destruction, rides on a cow with a cobra around its neck. The reason why Hindus worship cows is because of this god, called Shiva. And in most stores in India, an image of a god called Ganesa is hung whose body is human and head is an elephant. There is also a goddess with a weapon in every 10 hand, riding on a tiger.

We can hardly find any teachings that revive our spirits or any stories that brighten our hearts, but their myths are all stained with wars, death and destructions.

I truly give thanks and glory to God who did not forget these children living in the hopeless place full of useless myths, but sent them the good news of eternal life.

Mumbai is a central city of Indian economy. A lot of people move into the city, and about 15 official languages and hundreds of dialects are spoken. This city has been blessed to receive the message of life from God.

In Mumbai there are a lot of rich people; 40~50% of the whole tax of India is from this city. But there are also lots of slums; so most people are living day by day, laying stress only upon food and clothing.

Mumbai is crowded with lots of people coming from every part of India. I sometimes can't get off the subway for it is too crowded and have to go one more station.

As the situation is like this, it is very hard to come to church and keep the commands of God, without a firm faith in His word. The environment here trained the brothers and sisters in Mumbai to go forward, only looking at God, not turning aside to the right or the left. Now brothers and sisters in Mumbai, who have been trained, are keeping their faith, being prepared to preach the message of life to all over India.

They are preaching the word of life, the new covenant, to their cousins and friends who live in another regions. They preach the gospel to them when they visit Mumbai or they even go to their houses to deliver the words. As India is a vast country, we have to travel for scores of hours to go to another city. Brothers and sisters in India are spreading the gospel all over India, bearing such difficulty patiently.

By the labors and sacrifices of the brothers and sisters, the light of truth is being shone on Kolkata which is 34 hours away by train, Balgalore 24 hours away, Raipur and Nagpur 20 hours away and Goa a port city located on the coast in the west. The brothers and sisters there who have received the light of truth are keeping the commands of God, being surprised at the truth of the new covenant.

As the Kings of Judah Josiah and Hezekiah realized they had been serving idols and destroyed all the altars of Baal and smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and destroyed the high places and altars after keeping the Passover, now in India brothers and sisters are destroying the idols, shining the light of glory of Jerusalem.

We are understanding little by little the holy will of God who said, "Arise, shine!" I've realized that all the prophecies are really being fulfilled without fail, watching that nations are gathering and idols are destroyed when the light of glory of Jerusalem is shone on the land of darkness and death. I have also known that the faith of brothers and sisters differs according to how firmly we, who have been called by God at this age, reveal the light of Jerusalem.

All brothers and sisters in Mumbai are getting fervent by the fire of Holy Spirit from the brothers and sisters who visited Korea and saw the glory of Jerusalem Mother. Seeing that, I understand that the prophecy of Isaiah was written for us who live in this last age, and is being fulfilled as it is written. "'I ... am about to come and gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see my glory ... I will send some of those ... to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations. And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations, to my holy mountain in Jerusalem as an offering to the LORD--on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels ... ' (Isa 66:18-20)"

India is still in darkness. The areas where the light of gospel hasn't shone yet is much larger than the areas given the light. However, since God said that the light of the Second Coming Jesus in the last days is strong and fast like lightning, we believe that India will be evangelized soon.

All the brothers and sisters here in Mumbai are determined to shine the light of Jerusalem Mother in all the areas in India, following the words of God, "Arise, shine!"
