The devil is good at disguising himself, so it is hard to distinguish the true church from the false churches
only through their outward appearances.

The book of prophecy, which plainly shows the identity of Satan, is the book of “Daniel.” Through the “dream of a great statute” which Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon forgot, God showed the kingdoms which would appear after Babylon in world history. (Kingdoms were represented as gold, silver, bronze, iron, and iron and baked clay.)
