We can never receive salvation
if we worship other gods before God.

Only when King Josiah and King Hezekiah
kept the Passover, were they able to destroy
all the idols and worship God only with all
their heart, all their mind, and all their soul.
Today, too, only when we keep
the Passover of the new covenant,
can we fully keep the first commandment,
which is to have other gods before God.
