The dedication service for the Church of God in Cheongcheon, Incheon, Korea, was held in a godly manner along with the Sabbath day afternoon service on August 16. The members of the Cheongcheon Church in Incheon and from neighboring churches, who had looked forward to the dedication ceremony, participated in the service with excited and thankful hearts.
The newly dedicated temple is a three-story building, and its structure is U-shaped; two attached buildings are connected to the main temple. The exterior of the buildings is handsome, suggesting a firm castle or a fortress. Its interior is bright and neat; including a main worship hall with two stories, it is fully equipped with spaces for teaching the words of God and sharing brotherly and sisterly love: a fellowship hall, a multipurpose hall, education rooms, and a cafeteria, and more.
Mother was present despite Her busy schedule and offered a prayer of thanks to God the Father for granting the spacious and gracious temple. Mother asked for blessings for the members who had worked hard until the temple was dedicated to God. She also prayed that many workers of the new covenant would be produced for all the Churches of God throughout the world including the Cheongcheon Church, and that the members would keep their faith enough to be protected from disasters and enter the kingdom of heaven despite any hindrance from Satan, and that they would be united in love and overcome the difficulties with the hope for heaven.
General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized the mission of Christians with the sermon titled “Christ’s Fragrance and Mother’s Fragrance.”

It is said that what a child needs most is his mother’s smell. When a child can smell mother’s smell, he feels safe emotionally and grows stably. The most secure and comfortable place is the mother’s arms and the same applies to our spirits. The Bible, which teaches mankind the wisdom leading to salvation, tells us that Father, Mother, and Their children exist in the spiritual world. In the age of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit and the Bride—Heavenly Father and Mother—are calling Their children to give them the water of life. As the members are entrusted with the mission to spread the “smell to recognize the Christ,” they should glorify Mother by emitting Her fragrance around the world, and also lead brothers and sisters, who are wandering in the world without experiencing Mother’s smell yet, into the arms of Mother (2 Ti 3:15; Mt 6:9; 2 Co 6:17–18; Gal 4:26; 2 Co 2:12–16; Isa 60:1–5; Rev 22:17; Ge 1:26–27).
At the end of the service, Mother reminded the members that God the Father carried on the gospel work speedily in Incheon area as well according to the prophecy, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation” (Isa 60:22), and requested them to think of heaven, get strengthened always, and be more united. The members of the Cheongcheon Church gave thanks to God Elohim for blessing them with the dedication of the temple as well as with the year of jubilee. They said, “There’re still many neighbors who do not yet know about the Church of God or God the Mother but who are interested in churches. We’ll approach them with heartfelt volunteer services and reveal Mother’s glory, so that we can provide them with what they need most—Mother’s water of life and Her fragrance of love.” The members spoke of their aspirations to make the temple the “hall of gospel” filled with good fruits.
