The “8th New Jerusalem Festival for Young Adults” was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute on August 2. Over 5,000 young adults, including the members of Zion and their friends and colleagues, participated in the festival. Getting away from the tiring daily routines, they had some time to relax by the man-made waterfall and looking around the gallery inside the Institute.

Around one o’clock, the welcoming ceremony began. Mother wished them to have a good time, freeing themselves from fatigue accumulated through busy daily lives even for a little while. She told them about the heavenly kingdom where there are eternal treasures and rest, unlike this world where all the wealth and prosperity only last temporarily and then disappears. Mother also hoped that they would share in the blessings of the heavenly kingdom where joy and happiness last forever, by following God’s will in the days of their youth, full of ambition.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim testified that there surely exists God the Mother, who is the source of salvation, as well as God the Father. He also wished the festival to become an important turning point for them to start the life of salvation by confirming the truth.

As a welcome event, there was a short play combined with UCC videos. The young adults, who were invited to the festival by their friends or colleagues, became interested in the truth of the new covenant while carefully watching the UCC videos presented during the play. They studied the truth through the Bible after the event. Then they stood in line to receive a new life, saying, “As I have personal experience with the Church of God and confirm the truth with my own eyes through the Bible, I become convinced that this Church really follows the truth,” “I am very amazed by the fact that God the Mother exists from the beginning, as God said, ‘Let us make man in our image . . .’ (Ge 1:26).”

That day, a magnificent scene was spread out; so many people received the promise of salvation in one place at the same time. The young adult members, who witnessed God’s power and grace, prayed that the souls who were born again into the heavenly family would enjoy eternal joy and happiness in God.
