On August 21, there was a service of dedication and blessing for the Church of God in Yongsan, Seoul, which the members had eagerly been waiting for. The Church of God in Yongsan, Seoul, has three stories above ground and two basement levels, and the inside is charmingly decorated. The members attended the dedication service with happy smiles on their faces; they had worked hard for the gospel while enduring the difficult situation for a long time
because the previous temple was too small for them.

Mother gave thanks in prayer to Father for establishing a big and beautiful Zion in the Yongsan area and encouraged Her children who had made efforts to help complete the temple. She also gave them comfort and strength by telling them the story of the glorious heavenly kingdom where it is neither hot nor cold, and blessed them to bear abundant good fruit.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol stated with emphasis in his sermon, “The whole Bible―from the first chapter (Genesis 1) to the last chapter (Revelation 22)―testifies about God the Father and God the Mother. This is an absolute truth and an undeniable, obvious fact. The eternal kingdom of heaven, which has been prepared for us God’s children, is a world full of happiness where God the Father and God the Mother are with us forever.” Then he added, “If we have zeal and make efforts, we can preach the gospel everywhere─in Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Saying that, he expressed his wish that the Church of God in Yongsan, Seoul, located in the heart of Seoul, would play a leading role in the propagation of the gospel by powerfully proclaiming the Spirit and the Bride.

Yongsan is known as a “foreigners’ district.” So there are many foreign members from different nationalities in the Church of God in Yongsan, Seoul. A brother who serves in the US Army Garrison in Yongsan said, “I am very happy because this beautiful Zion has been established nearby. However, what our Church regards as important is not the outward appearance of the Church, but the truth of the Bible. I want to preach God’s word to my friends and lead them
to this place.”

The members of the Church of God in Yongsan, Seoul, have a great ambition. Their ambition is to make their Zion a “great Church” that can embrace everyone who visits it―their families, neighbors or anyone else from another country―with the heart of Mother, since they have been granted a larger temple. What they all desire now in order to help their Zion grow into a great Church is to fill the new temple with fruit, being clothed with the blessings and grace they received from Mother on the day of the dedication service.
