Praise the New Jerusalem, All Nations!

On 20 June, 'The 16th New Jerusalem New Song Contest' was held at the Okcheon Training Institute to give praise and glory to God.

The gymnasium of the institute was filled with fervor of 3,600 gospel workers from all over Korea. God who always provides the most proper weather at every event gave us rain on that day to cool down the heat of the gym.

In this event 16 overseas members from the United States and India, too, participated; Brother Brian from New York gave glory to God by singing his own song full of love for heavenly Mother, and Sister Christalene from Mumbai sang a New Song with deep emotion. All the participants were deeply touched and applauded them.

In the middle of the event, 3 or 4 year old children staged special performances and gave another impression and joy to all. The overseas members were also very delighted at their cute expression. And the youths dramatized the story of the young members who got to understand God's love by bearing fruit with the help of Mother's prayer after experiencing many difficulties in a foreign country. The youths' conte moved the audience to laughter and tears.

The level of all the choirs was so much raised that the judges found difficulty in choosing among them. After all, all the teams were awarded one of grand prize, honor prize, gold prize, silver prize, bronze prize and incentive prizes.

The grand prize was given to Elijah Joint Choir from Suyeong and Haeundae Churches in Busan city, who'd spoken of their aspiration to bear fruit by sublimating the deep impression from the event into energy to preach.

Pastor Gisang Pyo revealed the secret of their grand prize, "We've made efforts to be united and not to lose smile, following Mother's word," and gave thanks and glory to God for giving an opportunity to praise God and awarding them a grand prize as well.

On that day, Mother prayed that God's children's song of praise would deliver His glory to all nations and quicken the world mission. And She emphasized humility and unity, saying, "For a beautiful choir, each member needs a humble heart to harmonize his voice with others' voices, not distinguishing his own voice. Like this, in Zion beautiful unity bears fruit. What most pleases Father is His children's unity. So move father with your unification and be blessed to bear good fruit."

The overseas members, who experienced great love of God in the far off country in the east, expressed their impression and resolution, saying, "We are very grateful to God for allowing us to be here. When we go back, we will spread God's love and find the lost brothers and sisters without forgetting this emotion."

Along with the members' earnest hope, this reporter also pray our new song of praise coming from our unified heart will spread to Samaria and to the ends of the earth to speed up the evangelization of the world.
