In the blessing of the year of jubilee, the 50th anniversary of the Church of God, new temples are constantly established and dedicated to God. Following the dedication service for the Anseong Church in January, the Eunpyeong Church in Seoul had the dedication service for its independent church building and gave thanks and glory to God Elohim.

The dedication service for the Eunpyeong Church was held along with the Third-day service. The new temple, which is a five-story building with one basement level and a gross floor area of 3,306 ㎡ [35,584 ft²], is situated at the entrance of Eunpyeong Newtown apartment complex in Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. The exterior of the building, decorated with marble and glass, catches the eyes of passersby with its stylish and grand appearance.

Since the church is located at the entrance of the apartment complex, it is conve-nient for transportation. As there are primary and middle schools in its neighborhood, it has a quiet and pleasant environment. And around a nearby stream, many residents come for a walk and exercise.

The church building consists of a main worship hall with 800 seats, a fellow -ship room, and education rooms including audiovisual rooms, and various auxiliary facilities for members’ convenience and rest such as multipurpose rooms, rest areas, a cafeteria, and a parking lot.

The pastoral staff and the members from neighboring Zions came and celebrated on the establishment of the new beautiful temple and on the dedication, sharing joy all together.

During the service, Mother offered the prayer of thanks to God the Father for granting the beautiful and gracious temple and asked Him to give good health and blessing to all the members who made efforts for the gospel. She complimented the members who worked hard for the establishment of the new temple and inspired hope and courage in them.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol quoted the words of the Bible, “When the glory of Jerusalem shines, all nations will come to her light, and they will be satisfied and comforted over Jerusalem.” And he said with emphasis, “The mission, which we should carry out around when the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled, is to shine the glory of Jerusalem throughout the world all the more so that all people who were exhausted in their tough lives can be comforted and rest and have hope in the arms of Jerusalem” (Isa 60:1–12; Ps 34:1–2; Isa 66:10–13). Pastor Kim Joo-cheol asked all the members to become the salt and light of the world with Mother’s love and with unity. And he hoped that God’s grace and peace would fill the church all the time as the church name means.

The members resolved to fulfill the gospel with Mother’s love, engraving the greatness of the prophecies which were being accomplished without the smallest letter and the least stroke of a pen left. One of female members expressed her firm resolution, saying, “Our only mission is to fill this God-given temple with good fruit through unity and harmony. I will display the glory of Jerusalem all over the world with love and sacrificial services by delivering the truth with a fervent heart.”
