The dedication services were held on March 7, 2017, for three churches in the northern Gyeonggi Province of Korea: The Paju Munsan Church (in Munsan-eup), the Yeoncheon Church (in Yeoncheon-gun), and the Pocheon Church (in Soheul-eup). The brothers and sisters, who had kept services in the churches located in other regions such as downtowns of Paju or Pocheon, Dongducheon, and Cheolwon, longing for the churches to be built in their regions, were now joyful to participate in the dedication ceremonies.

Mother gave thanks to Heavenly Father who heard His children’s prayers and granted the temples, and expressed Her joy repeatedly. Mother complimented the members on their great love of preaching the gospel despite difficulties to save souls. “Let us believe that God has established these churches, for there are many of our heavenly family members to be found. Let’s shine the light of salvation over the people who are tired with no hope for heaven,” Mother enlightened them.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol informed the members of the present status of the gospel work in Korea where churches are being built even in the smallest administrative division, and the news of the overseas churches that are growing rapidly day after day. “God opens wide the doors for those who love God and follow Him with all their heart, mind, and soul. When we believe the words, ‘I will do this swiftly,’ and practice the teachings of the Bible, we will see the blessed result, as God promised, ‘According to your faith, will it be done to you,” he emphasized. “The role and the mission of the church is to enlighten people about Heavenly Mother and the new covenant and to lead them to Zion, our spiritual home,” he said, wishing for each church to be filled with people who long for heaven (Mt 22:34–38; Gal 2:20; Jas 2:14–17; Eze 47:1–12; Rev 22:17).

The Paju Munsan Church
Munsan-eup in the city of Paju is famous for Imjingak Park. The Paju Munsan Church reminds you of a neat and peaceful castle from a fairytale. As it is at the roadside, it draws the attention of the residents and tourists.

“Until we preach to all 430,000 citizens in Paju, of which the area is larger than Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, we’ll charge on, plowing through everything on the path of the gospel,” the members expressed their determination.

The Yeoncheon Church
Yeoncheon-gun is the northernmost part of Gyeonggi Province. As it is close to the Military Demarcation Line, many soldiers and their families live there. The Yeoncheon Church has already attracted the attention of people who have come from other villages and are living somewhat lonely lives, as a haven of cheerfulness and warm-heartedness. The brothers and sisters are hoping to add energy and warmth to their communities through constant missionary work and voluntary services.

The Pocheon Church
The city of Pocheon is well known for various kinds of food and sightseeing spots, including Idong Galbi (beef short ribs with marinated sauce) and Sanjeong Lake. The sophisticated exterior of the Pocheon Church, which is finished with light-colored bricks, is in harmony with the surrounding landscape. It has four floors above ground and one underground.

The brothers and sisters practice love they have received from God through diverse voluntary services such as street cleanups and helping unfortunate neighbors. The members show their love also to foreign workers at the textile and furniture complex in the community. “We hope everyone, regardless of culture and language, can come to the Pocheon Church and enjoy happiness and blessings,” the members expressed their wish.
