Another home of gospel has been added to shine the light of the truth in Incheon, the gateway of Korea to the world. The Ganseok Church in Incheon has been established at Namdong-gu, the center of administration in Incheon, where Incheon City Hall and Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education are located.
In the evening of April 18, when the spring rain washed the air and the earth cleanly, the dedication service for the Ganseok Church in Incheon were held along with the Third-day service. The church members with happy smiles thanked God for granting them the blessed occasion right after they kept the spring feasts including the Passover.
Mother gave glory to Father for granting the new temple for the sake of many heavenly children to come. She also prayed for the members, who had worked hard with one mind until the new temple was established, to be blessed with rich fruit of the gospel. Then Mother reminded them of the joy of salvation and the glory of the angelic world, hoping them to convey the blessings of heaven to those who are worried about their uncertain future and tired in life by diligently shining the light of life.
General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol informed the members that the brothers and sisters were being quickly found and that Zions were being established all over the globe, and explained the will of God in establishing the churches for the people who are to be saved. When Jesus came 2,000 years ago, religious leaders such as the Pharisees and the Jews rejected Him and blasphemed because they couldn’t accept Christ who came in the flesh. Unlike them, however, Peter believed in Jesus as the Savior and received the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And the Church of God, which Peter and the apostles attended, proclaimed the truth of the new covenant and the Savior that the Bible testifies about with great fortitude (Mt 16:13–19).

Pastor Kim Joo-cheol pointed out the current situation where people still do not accept Christ who came in the flesh and refuse to obey the teachings of the Bible such as the Sabbath and the Passover just like 2,000 years ago. “Let’s work hard to solve the misunderstandings and inform the truth, so that there won’t be any miserable souls who fail to receive salvation while ignoring the truth,” he said (Lk 23:50–24:1; Lk 22:7–20; 1 Co 1:1–2; Rev 21:9–10).
The Ganseok Church in Incheon is an eight-story building with a basement. It is equipped with several spaces for the members and neighbors as well as a polygonal duplex temple. Just like the bright and cozy atmosphere of the church, the members are complimented for communicating with the community, through heartwarming volunteer services and good deeds such as inviting families and cleaning the streets. More than 10,000 visitors came to “Our Mother” Writing and Photo Exhibition recently, while the positive response and praise of each field continued. The members expressed their hopes: “Our neighbors did not know well about our Church of God before, but they begin to turn in favor of our church after attending many different kinds of church events. From now on, we will make more efforts for voluntary services and preaching, believing all this work is from God’s love and the power of the truth.”
