Blessings of the Holy Spirit Poured Out on Darhan at the Pentecost

Just one day before the Ascension Day, I got on the night train for Darhan with two like-minded members of Zion. Blowing its whistle loudly, the train got out of the downtown area of Ulaanbaatar and ran across the dark and vast plains.

“Botz (dumpling), boiled egg, Sutaecha (a traditional Mongolian tea)!”

People were selling food while walking through the passengers, the train was shaking . . . It was just like in the old days of Korea, and I was reminded of our Father who used to take a night train to visit His children and take care of them in those poverty-stricken days. I gave thanks to God for allowing me to follow the path of His sacrifice even just a little bit through the overseas mission.

Darhan is the city where the Ulaanbaatar Zion members have been going on short-term mission trips three times a month since last December. We were determined to keep the coming feasts with the members whom we had found in Darhan and to lead many souls into the arms of God, receiving the blessings of the Holy Spirit of the latter rain through the Pentecost. On the train for Darhan, we boldly preached God Elohim to the passengers. The blessed journey that Father and Mother had prepared before the creation of the world started that way.

We arrived in Darhan around 4 a.m. after traveling for seven hours. By the grace of God, we kept the morning service of the Ascension Day at the house of Brother Myagmarjav who led a house church, and then we visited the members of Zion to invite them to celebrate the feasts. Engraving deep in our hearts what Mother said, “If you earnestly pray, depending on Father, you will find many of your lost brothers and sisters,” we reaffirmed our determination for the gospel.

After the afternoon service, we visited the worship place that God had granted us temporarily for the prayer week of the feast. While cleaning, we gave thanks to God for allowing us to prepare a dwelling for God. Thinking that many new members would come to keep the feast here, we were overwhelmed with emotion.

‘Mother, please lead many souls so that we can feel that this place is too small and establish a Zion quickly in Darhan.’

From the next day, our prayer began to be answered. The one who was led first to the truth was Sister Ariun Tungalag. She lived in Selenge, which is 2-3 hours away from Darhan, but at that time she was staying at her sister’s home to take care of her nephews. On the day when we first met her, she was reborn as a child of God after listening to the truth about Heavenly Mother and the Passover. Then she kept the Sabbath, Third Day and other feasts together with us. However, she had to return to Selenge. As she promised to come back in September, we earnestly hope that she would come back and be fully clothed with the word of God.

After her, Sister Tuul and Nandin Tsetseg were led to the truth. When we were very anxious about those who had promised to receive the truth but didn’t keep it, God allowed us to meet the two sisters instead. They were very surprised to hear about God the Mother whom they had never known before, and received the truth right away like the eunuch of Queen Candace who was immediately baptized after he realized the truth. I hope that the two sisters will grow to be good fruits in the grace of God.

The story about Sister Byamba is also very gracious. When she studied the truth of the soul and realized that we rebelled against Heavenly Father and Mother in heaven and were cast down to this earth, she said, “I’d like to receive the forgiveness of sins quickly.” The next day, she came to Zion, and after studying how to receive the forgiveness of sins granted by Father, she was reborn as a child of God. Then she received the abundant blessings of the Holy Spirit by faithfully keeping worship services for the Prayer Week of the Pentecost and the Sacred Assembly of the Day of Pentecost as well as the Sabbath. At every service, she set a good example by being neatly dressed, and she brought Sutaecha (a traditional Mongolian tea) for the Church members.

Sister Myagmarjav seemed to have no interest in the Word at first. However, after listening to the truth of the Passover—the way to be saved from disasters, she wanted to be a child of God. The next day, we delivered the truth about God the Mother to her, and she received the grace of salvation in full assurance of faith. Afterwards, she kept the Sabbath and all the annual feasts of God, and received more blessings by leading her two children to Zion.

Lastly, let me share with you the fragrance about Sister Od Gerel, who was led to the truth this past January. While keeping the feasts together with us, her faith grew quickly and she began to preach the good news to her friends, saying that she would bear fruits to please Heavenly Mother. The day before the Pentecost, she led a Kazakhstanian named Serikjan. I hope that Sister Od Gerel will grow in faith all the more and become a great worker of God.

“When you leave here, who will teach us the words of God?”

Sister Byamba asked us when we were about to return to Ulaanbaatar after the Sacred Assembly of the Day of Pentecost. The brothers and sisters asked us when we would come back and told us to return quickly. Hearing them say that, we were heartbroken. Mother, please establish Zion quickly in Darhan, too!

While keeping the feast and preaching the gospel for ten days in Darhan, we received the truly amazing blessings of the Holy Spirit. One day the sun was beating down unsparingly, another day the sand was blown by a strong wind or it snowed all day long . . . During those days, I could deeply realize the sacrifice that Heavenly Father and Mother went through to find Their lost children.

I give thanks to God again for calling me to carry out the world mission here in Mongolia in this age of prophecy. I will display the glory of God Elohim everywhere in this vast land of Mongolia with the power of the Holy Spirit poured on us through the Pentecost. Father and Mother, please lift up Your mighty arm every day!
