Farmers have long suffered from the lack of workers that seeking workers has been almost like searching for a needle in a haystack. Now is busy farming season and rainy season are approaching near. Farmers are aggravated more. In order to help the farmers over 60 members of the Church of God volunteered to work in the field in Yangsan-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Providence.

In a vineyard 40 youths covered grapes with blight damage prevention papers, and in the fields of ginseng, sweetpotato and sesame 20 men and women members got rid of weeds. These works were put off because of the lack of hands and burdened the farmers' hearts heavily. But thanks to the hands of the volunteers from the Church of God, they were relieved off worry.

Particularly, Wanseop Lee, who runs a vineyard for 7 years, was in a difficult situation; his wife was hospitalized because she developed complications after her spinal surgery and, worse, he couldn't find workers to do the vineyard work, that he even gave up managing the farm for one and a half months. When the youths finished the work of seven days just in five hours, he hardly hid his delight, smiling brightly. He said, "My son who lives busy city life often came and helped me, but it was not enough to finish up all the work. So, what you did is a big help to me and my son also wants to thank you."

Chanman Kim the head of the villages also expressed his thanks, "Last year, too, you helped us reap red peppers. We cannot express our appreciation enough."

Shedding sweat, all the volunteers worked joyfully and said, "We are very happy to help our neighbors and receive blessing from God, too." A youth said, "I'd thought trees bear fruit spontaneously until today I saw farmers grow them like their children. Now I understand more the love of God raising His children with a heart of a farmer." And a men volunteer, weeding diligently, said, "I'm working with my wife. I thank God for giving me an opportunity to help my neighbor in need."

Pastor Wuseop Lee who arranged this voluntary work thanked God, saying, "Recently, we were looking around our neighbors whether they were suffering from the heavy rain and heard of the farmers' difficulties, so we set out to deliver God's love. We are very grateful to God for letting us spread God's love to our neighbors."

Despite the humid and hot weather, the volunteers served their neighbors with gladness. This report hope people of Zion all over the world bear fruit abundantly with such love and wholeheartedness.
