God's Administration

The day when we will go to heaven is drawing nearer every day. When I see brothers and sisters in Zion preaching the gospel earnestly with one mind, I feel that we are being recreated to become new creations in the love of God. We have been given the mission of a prophet in these last days. So we should preach Christ and the good news of the kingdom of God to this dark world, having a full understanding of Christ who is the secret hidden for ages and generations.

God's administration of salvation

We all believe that heaven exists. Then, why does heaven exist? For whom? If we think a little deeper, we will realize that God created heaven for those who will inherit salvation. Then, there must be an administration to save them. Gracious results cannot be produced without an administration-without planning and operating according to the plan.

There are many administrators in the world; businessmen administrate their companies, scholars the academic world, and presidents their countries. They all manage earthly things, and they have more chances to fail rather than to succeed. However, the administration of God Almighty, who knows the beginning and the end, never fails but guarantees sure success. This is why we have to forcefully advance the kingdom of heaven with all our heart and soul.

Some people spend their whole life in an uncertain and vague ad-ministration in this world. What they get from it is nothing, being compared with the blessings given to those who join the administration of God the Creator.

God established the kingdom of heaven, and He has been administrating the ministry of saving the souls who will live there. We are joining His administration by preaching the gospel to those who have not heard it yet. We absolutely believe that the administration of God never fails. So we can eagerly preach the gospel and build our faith on the rock even in difficult circumstances.

Let's see what God asks us to do in His administration work of salvation-the work of gathering His children.

Eze 3:17-19 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. ... When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself."

God says that He has made us watchmen. If people do not repent even though we give them warning from God, then God will not hold us responsible for their death. However, if they enter into the way of destruction because we've not warned them, then God will hold us accountable for their blood.

If we fully believe the administration of God, there is nothing for us to be afraid of. Life is but an empty dream. This world is temporary and what is eternal is the spiritual world. The reality is the kingdom of heaven where we will live forever.

Dream is unreal. Can we become full though we eat much or can we quench our thirst though we drink water a lot in a dream? No. How-ever, many people are under the illusion that this world is real. What is real is the spiritual world. Let's not be foolish people who are afraid of this world that is unreal and illusory.

We are God's ambassadors. We must realize that the gospel work is the work of God; it will be surely accomplished and His administration will never fail.

Those who are afraid of failure will fail. What about those who face their situations bravely? They will never fail. God gives us gracious results when we do something with faith in Him, even though we lack fluency and technique.

Why have we been expelled from heaven and come to this sinful world? It's because we betrayed God, being tempted by the morning star. The fundamental reason was that we didn't have perfect faith in God. God wants us to have absolute faith in Him, so that He may establish the sinless kingdom of heaven.

Believe God's administration and follow Him

We must have enough faith to follow the Lamb wherever He goes. This absolute faith is one of the characteristics of the 144,000 who will be redeemed from the earth. Since we do the gospel work with ab-solute trust and faith in God, there will be always gracious results and everything will go well.

Mt 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth, and He can give His authority to anyone at anytime. He now says to us, "All authority has been given to Me. Therefore go and give people warning from me." Why does God, who is the source of all authority, want to complete His purpose through us, even though He can do all things by Himself? It's because He wants to give us opportunities to make our faith complete.

Since God told us to go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey everything He had commanded us, we must follow His word. Let's not fear persecution and trials we suffer in this illusory world. Is there anything to fear if we believe that the eternal kingdom of heaven is our real world?

Apostle Paul said that he desired to be away from the body and be with Christ but it was more necessary for those who had not been spiritually awakened that he remained in this earth. He wished to go back home quickly, because he knew well that this earth is an illusory world and the real world is eternal heaven where he will dwell with God. However, he was willing to remain on the earth and to suffer all hardships in order to awaken the world as a watchman and to take care of God's people who were wondering around in the sinful world, like sheep without a shepherd.

The work of the gospel that we carry out is not accomplished easily. In the process of enlightening the world, we may be ridiculed and persecuted; and sometimes we may face severe hardships and oppositions and slanders aiming to destroy our faith. However, we should not forget that we preach the gospel on God's behalf. We must preach the gospel of love, salvation and peace to the people of the world, having the same mind as God.

God came into the earth to seek the lost. He had mercy upon the world and planned to save people. Since the Bible tells us to have the mind of Christ, we too should take pity on the world. Truth purifies and sublimates our mind, so that we can have pity on the world. When our spiritual level is higher than the world, we can have pity on the world and carry out the gospel work graciously as ambassadors for Christ. God always helps us who work for Him.

Isa 41:9-13 "I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ... "

The above passages do not mean that God will help us when we do nothing. It means that God will help us and do what He has purposed when we are doing the gospel work of enlightening the people of the world on behalf of Him, teaching them to awaken from illusions and come into the truth, and preaching His will to them. The fate of those who are against us is already recorded in the Bible. Then, what are we afraid of? Are we afraid of men who are like grass? We believe the word of God, "All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish."

Though we lack knowledge, God will help us; the Spirit of God will give us wisdom and understanding, correct our mistaken knowledge and lead us to tell the right things. Is there anything to be worried about?

The way to salvation is not easy. Certainly strong resolution is required. However, God constantly helps us along the way.

When a matter that we can not handle with our ability gets solved, we feel the touch of God's hand. The gospel work is not a job that we can do with our own ability. It is impossible without God's help. So God is helping us. Let's believe it.

We are to remember that we can preach the gospel like Christ when we feel pity toward the world, rather than feel afraid of it, even though it persecutes and ridicules us. When we teach poor souls the way to heaven and preach God, taking all our worldly fears and concerns to Him, God will supply what is lacking in us, correct all wrongs and help us fulfill His purpose for the gospel.

Isa 14:24 The Lord Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand."

By saying, "Surely, as I have planned so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand," God emphasizes that His administration will be surely accomplished.

God will accomplish the last work of gospel

Let's find out how the gospel work, planned by God, will be finished.

Rev 14:1-5 "Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 ... They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. ... "

God said that the 144,000, who are redeemed from the earth, follow the Lamb wherever He goes; they will enter a new heaven and a new earth after the work of gospel is completed in this earth. "They follow the Lamb wherever he goes." This means that they have an absolute faith in Christ. Without absolute faith, no one can follow Christ wherever He goes.

The 144,000 obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Christ. They are indeed praiseworthy. 2,000 years ago God already wrote in the Bible that all His plans were accomplished. Before long the 144,000 will dwell with God eternally in the glorious world-in a new heaven and a new earth where there is only joy and happiness, neither death, nor sorrow, nor pain, nor crying.

Keeping in mind that what God has planned will be surely accomplished, let's get rid of all our fears completely. God said, "According to your faith will it be done to you." If we hesitate to preach the gospel, feeling afraid of the world, we will suffer trouble and woe.

Taking pity on the souls who will go to hell unless we preach to them, we should earnestly pray for them and boldly proclaim the gospel to them. Then each soul will receive the truth of God and God's plan of salvation will be accomplished.

The day when God will complete His administration is near, as He said, "The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly." God refines us like gold every day to be strong in faith so that we can follow the Lamb wherever He goes. We will be hated because of the name of Christ, as it is written, "All men will hate you because of me" (Mk 13:13). God said that the world hates us without reason-it is not because we did something wrong that the world hates us. So, though we are persecuted and hated by the people of the world, we should more boldly preach the gospel, standing firm in the faith.

God's plan will surely be fulfilled, even though the world hates, hinders and persecutes us. To those without faith in God, persecutions and troubles caused by Satan seem to be so great and the Church of God so small and weak, and they might think that the Church of God would fail soon. However, it is just a thought of men who do not know at all what will happen in the future. The Church of God, which God has established in accordance with His plan, will never fail.

Ac 5:38-39 "Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

If the gospel that we are preaching were not from God, it would have failed a long time ago. Our purpose or activity is from God, so it will never fail under any oppression by the world. We have been trusted with the gospel by God, who Himself has come into the world and brought us the word of truth. So it never fails.

Our mission is given by God. What can be more gracious and holy than this? We ought to be proud of this invaluable mission and thankful to God for entrusting the task to us. Our Father once said, "People in the world do not envy me, so I do not envy them, either."

The people of the world do not envy us. They envy those who have high social positions, but not feel envious of us who have an honorable position as the ambassadors of heaven. We are entrusted with the most precious mission-preaching the gospel of God; when we complete the mission, we will all enter heaven. Whom shall we envy in this world? God has called us to join His administration. The only thing we have to do is to faithfully carry out our God-given mission-the duty of watchmen, longing for the day when God will come and commend us, "Well done, My faithful children!"

In Revelation 2, God tells us, "Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." If we failed in spite of being faithful even to the point of death, what would we expect and get? However, every word of God is supposed to be fulfilled; not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from His words until everything is accomplished. So, God told us to be faithful even to the point of death. We should put all our hearts and minds into God's plan and administration which will never fail.

Let's give thanks to God for allowing us to participate in His ad-ministration of the gospel and giving us the glorious duty of the minister of the new covenant. Let's make the great spiritual profit of the gospel work.

All of us in Zion shall take part in God's administration of salvation until the appointed time, willingly sharing in Christ's suffering, in order that we may become heirs together with Christ, members together of one body and sharers together in the promise of eternal kingdom of heaven.
