The Kingdom of Heaven with Only Father and the Kingdom of Heaven with Both Father and Mother
Now there are many people who ask us about God the Mother after they recently saw the press releases or videos which introduce the Church of God. We are also hearing the news from all around the world that the people, who have not known the Church of God or have misunderstood our Church, are now coming into the truth.
A member, who wanted to preach about God the Mother, met one of his friends and asked, “Do you want to go to heaven?” Then his friend answered, “Yes, of course, I do.” So, he asked his friend again, “If so, do you want to go to the kingdom of heaven where there is only Father or go to the kingdom of heaven where there are Father and Mother as well?” Then his friend said that it would be better if he could go to the kingdom of heaven where there are both Father and Mother.
How about you? Which kingdom do you want to live in, the kingdom of heaven where there is only Father or the kingdom of heaven where there is Mother as well as Father? As for me, I much prefer the kingdom of heaven where all our heavenly family members will live together with God our Father and God our Mother.
The Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life
Let’s think about a family. There are a father and a mother in a family. In the same way, there are God the Father and God the Mother in heaven. God has made this fact known to us.
Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Here, the Spirit is God, who is equal to God the Father and God the Son in the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—all these are the expressions for God who is male. The Spirit, who is the male image of God, and the Bride, who is His wife, say to mankind, “Come!”
Who is the Bride of God our Father to us? She is our Mother. Through this single verse alone, we can see that there is God our Mother as well as God our Father in the everlasting kingdom of heaven where we must go. This scene is a revelation which the faithful God, who does no wrong, has personally shown us.
Rev 1:1-2 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The Revelation is one of the books of the Bible, which Apostle John wrote as he saw and heard the revelation of Jesus Christ. In the revelation which God gave him to show us what must take place, the Spirit who is God the Father and His Bride who is God the Mother say together, “Come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”
Most churches today, claiming to believe in God, teach that there is only one God who created man. However, the Bible explains so clearly that God the Father and God the Mother exist together.
The male image of God and the female image of God, who created man and woman
The Bible, starting from the first chapter, testifies that there are God the Father and God the Mother. Let’s examine this fact in Genesis 1.
Ge 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
When God created man, God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.” God did not say, “I will make man,” but said, “Let us make man.” Through this, we can confirm the fact that man was not created by one God.
Some people insist that the reason God said, “Let us make man,” was because the angels beside God helped Him, even though there is only one God who created man. If their logic were true, they would come to the conclusion that the angels are the creators who made man. However, no one can be the creator except God.
God created man in God’s own image, saying, “Let us make man,” and male and female were created. This shows that there are two Gods who made man—the male image of God and the female image of God, not just one God. The male image of God has been called “Father” by human beings until this very day. So, what should we call the female image of God? Of course, we should call Her “Mother.”
Since the word “God” described in the Bible is singular, you may think that God is one. In the original text of the Hebrew Bible, however, God is described as the plural noun “Elohim” almost 2,500 times. In Hebrew there is a singular noun “Eloah” or “El.” When the suffix “-im” is added to the singular term Eloah, it produces the plural word “Elohim,” meaning “Gods.” In Genesis 1:1 it is written, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This verse is also recorded in Hebrew, “In the beginning Elohim [Gods] created the heavens and the earth.” It
is not one God who created the heavens and the earth and made man, but Elohim—God the Father and God the Mother—who said, “Let us make man in our image . . .”
Nevertheless, why has God been known only as the Father, the one and only God, for such a long time? It is because the father represents the family. In old times, Korean people put up nameplates on their front doors; only the name of the father was written on the nameplate of each house. However, although the nameplate only had the name of the father, it did not mean that there was only the father living in the house; the mother and the children also lived there together. Since the father was the head of the family, his name was written on the nameplate as the representative of the family.
Like in traditional Korean society, women in Israel were treated as subordinate to men because of the patriarchal idea of male superiority and authority until the New Testament times through the Old Testament times. Due to this social background, the existence of God the Mother is not mentioned in the Bible, even though She surely exists. This never means that the Bible denies the existence of God the Mother.
Our Father and our Mother in heaven
The Bible prophesies about the time when the existence of God the Mother, who has been hidden behind God the Father, is clearly manifested to human beings. As the woman was created on the last day of Creation, so God the Mother is to be revealed in the last days. In regard to this, the Bible says, “The wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready” (Rev 19:7). If you recognize God the Mother, you will be able to understand God’s will to some degree—why God has made the time and the circumstances favorable for women; women in the past were suppressed and hidden behind men, but now they are rising to positions of power and influence and their rights are steadily being expanded.
The Bible tells us about Elohim [Gods] in another aspect as follows:
Mt 6:9-10 “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven . . .’ ”
This verse is a scene where Jesus teaches His disciples the Lord’s Prayer. Through this, Jesus shows us that there is our Father in heaven. However, the Bible states that there is “our Mother” as well as “our Father” in heaven.
Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
Here, “above” means “heaven.” The Bible says that the Jerusalem that is above is our mother. “Our mother” here does not mean our physical mother who gave birth to our body, but our spiritual Mother who gave birth to our soul. She is God the Mother who created woman in Her own image, when Elohim created the heavens and the earth and all things in them, saying, “Let us make man in our image.”
Gal 4:27-31 For it is written: “Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.” Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise . . . Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
The Bible says that we are children of the free woman. What do children call the woman who gave birth to them? Naturally, they call her “mother.” The book of Matthew testifies to the existence of “our Father in heaven,” and the book of Galatians clearly testifies to the existence of “the Jerusalem that is above, our Mother.”
“You will be my sons and daughters”
The systems of the earth are a copy and shadow of what is in heaven (Heb 8:5). There is no shadow that can exist without the substance or reality. If a family system on this earth is a copy and shadow, there must be its reality in heaven.
In the heavenly family as well, there are “our Father” and “our Mother.” And God calls us sons and daughters.
2 Co 6:17-18 “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord . . . I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
The Bible says that we will be God’s sons and daughters. Father, sons and daughters, and Mother—this is the perfect family.
As a family on this earth consists of a father, a mother, sons and daughters, so the heavenly family consists of Father, Mother, sons and daughters. A home, where the members of a family live together, is a place of love and happiness. Isn’t the kingdom of heaven a place of eternal rest where there is extreme love and happiness? When there are God the Father, God the Mother, and God’s loving sons and daughters in the kingdom of heaven, then we can say it is a world of endless joy, pleasure and happiness.
When children return home, they call for their moms first. Even after they grow up and are married off, they try to go to their hometown, where their parents live, especially when a traditional holiday comes, no matter how far away they are. If there is not their mother but only their father in their hometown, they may feel a kind of emptiness. That is the nature of human beings, which Elohim planted in their hearts when They created them.
The kingdom of heaven is our spiritual home where there are our Heavenly Father, our Heavenly Mother, and our brothers and sisters. If there were only Father in the everlasting kingdom of heaven, how contradictory would it be?
This can be easily understood even by little children. However, today’s religious leaders who claim to have much knowledge of the Bible are committing a great error by insisting that there is only one God, the Father. So Jesus said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them,” and, “Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear” (Mt 13:10-16).
There is no doubt that we have God our Father and God our Mother as well. God has proclaimed this fact in the book of Genesis, and at the end of the book of Revelation God appears as the Spirit and the Bride; They are calling all human beings to come to salvation. Many people do not acknowledge this fact, and they insist that there is only one God, the Father. However, we just learn what the Bible says and believe in and receive God the Mother whom the Bible teaches about.
Shine the light of the glory of Jerusalem
The Bible calls our holy Heavenly Mother “Jerusalem that is above.” Let’s take a look at the book of the prophet Isaiah, which sings about the relationship between Jerusalem and Her children.
Isa 66:10-14 “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her. For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you will drink deeply and delight in her overflowing abundance.” For this is what the LORD says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the LORD will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes.
The happiest moment for a mother is when she is with her children. It is the same for the children. The happiest moment for them is when they are carried in their mother’s arms and dandled on her knees and nursed at her breast when they are hungry. By describing this scene, the prophet Isaiah explains the relationship between God the Mother and Her children.
As children of Jerusalem our Heavenly Mother, who love Her, we should rejoice with Mother and be glad for Her. Concerning the glorious future that Jerusalem will meet, Isaiah 60 prophesies as follows:
Isa 60:1-4 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.”
The only way to defeat the darkness is to shine the light. When we shine the true light (Jn 1:9)—God the Father and God the Mother—on all peoples of the world, the darkness will retreat and our heavenly family members will all gather together in the arms of Jerusalem Mother and they will rejoice with Mother and be glad for Her.
The Bible prophesies that when we shine the glory of Jerusalem, Her sons and daughters will come from afar and kings will come to Her light. This prophecy is now becoming reality. Our heavenly family members throughout the world are running into the arms of Mother one after another, wherever we preach the words which say that God the Father and God the Mother have come as the Spirit and the Bride to give us the water of life.
Let us quickly preach this good news that God the Mother exists to the poor souls who are still wandering in the darkness without realizing God the Mother. Our brothers and sisters in Zion! I want you all to enjoy eternal life and happiness in the kingdom of heaven where there are both Father and Mother.
