Heavenly Mother Has Changed Our Destiny

The gospel is now being preached quickly throughout the world. As prophesied in the Bible, the work of salvation—finding the lost heavenly family members—is shaking the world, and God establishes Zion wherever our brothers and sisters go. I believe all these results are brought forth because the people of Zion have been fervently working together for the gospel with one mind, according to Heavenly Mother's teaching.

A bright future is waiting for us. When the glory of Jerusalem Mother is pro-claimed, people from all nations will return to God and God’s people will reign forever in the eternal kingdom of heaven according to God’s promise. This is our destiny. Let’s find out through the Bible who has changed our destiny, so we can fully carry out our gospel ministry with the hope for heaven, like the Apostle Paul who finished the race and looked forward to the crown of righteousness that was stored up for him.

Our destiny has been changed from death to eternal life

Once upon a time there was a beggar who always blamed everything on his destiny. Then one day, he met a wise man. The beggar lamented to him about his misfortune and said he wished he had been born with the same destiny as the rich or famous heroes and heroines. After listening to the beggar, the wise man told him he had been born with the same destiny as them. The beggar didn’t understand what the wise man was saying, and asked him what he meant. Then the wise man answered.

“They were born with the destiny of death, and you were also born with the destiny of death, weren’t you?”

By this he meant that all people had the same destiny because they would all die, regardless of whether they were rich, poor, great or ordinary. So, we can say that everyone is born with the same destiny of death. However, since we met God, our destiny has been changed. We were all destined for death—our final destination, but God has changed our destiny from death to eternal life, so He can lead us to the world where there is no more death or pain or sorrow. This is God’s promise to us.

Gal 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

The Bible calls us “children of promise.” Before we met God, we were destined to die. However, since we met God, we have received God’s promise. Let’s see what God has promised us and how it has changed our destiny.

1 Jn 2:25 And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.

Everyone is born with the destiny of death. However, God has promised us eternal life. This is the promise of God who is faithful, so it can never be changed or revoked. Then, what is the way for us to receive eternal life God has promised us?

Life comes from Mother

We can discover God’s providence in all things of nature He made.

Rev 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

God created all things according to His will, so we can understand the heavenly principle through them. All living things on earth are given birth and life by their mothers. Birds in the air, fish in the sea, and various species of animals in the fields—they are all born by their mothers. It is the same with humans. Their eyes, noses, mouths, ears and legs are formed in their mothers’ wombs. The whole process of creation is done through mothers.

The Bible says that the things on the earth are a copy and shadow of the things in heaven (Heb 8:5). Where there is a shadow, there must also be its reality. All living things are given life by their mothers on this earth which is a shadow. By whom, then, is eternal life given in the spiritual world which is a reality?

The fact that there are mothers on the earth proves that there must be our Mother in the spiritual world. We are given birth and life through our mothers. This reflects God’s profound will. Let us fully understand and follow God’s will, keeping in mind that whoever does the will of God will enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt 7:21).

Ge 1:26–27 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Many people believe there is only one God who created man. However, God said, “Let us make man . . .” Why does God refer to Himself as “us”?

Man was created in God’s own image, and male and female were created. God who created male and female is not one, but two—the male image of God and the female image of God, who refer to Themselves as “us.” Jesus taught us to call the male image of God “our Father in heaven” (Mt 6:9). So shouldn’t we call the female image of God “our Mother”?

In Genesis 1, we can confirm that we have our spiritual Mother. Just as our physical life is given by our human mothers, our spiritual life—eternal life—can only be given by our spiritual Mother. This is God’s will. Since God the Mother exists, we are given eternal life and our destiny has been changed from death to life.

God made all things according to His will, and Adam and Eve were the first humans who were created in God’s image. God had a specific will when He created Adam and Eve, too.

Ro 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

Adam was a pattern of the one to come—Christ who would come a second time. God created Adam as a pattern of Christ who was to come a second time. What was God’s will for Eve when He created her?

Ge 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

The reason Adam named his wife Eve, meaning “life,” was because she would become the mother of all the living. We can understand that Christ who is to come a second time must have a wife just as Adam had a wife named Eve, because Adam represents Christ, and that Christ’s Wife is the Mother of all spirits just as Adam’s wife Eve was the mother of all the living.

Heavenly Mother gives us eternal life

Although Jesus was God Almighty, He repeatedly said He would save human beings by giving them eternal life at the last day (Jn 6:39–40, 44, 54). This indicates that Mother, who gives mankind eternal life, is to appear in the last days. The Bible prophesies about it as follows:

Rev 19:7–8 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

We were destined to die, but since we met Mother, our destiny has been changed from death to eternal life. So why shouldn’t we rejoice? The Lamb in the book of Revelation refers to the Holy Spirit—Jesus who is to come a second time. The Bible says that the wedding of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready. So, Christ who is to come a second time in these last days—the age of the Holy Spirit—must have His wife, just as Adam had his wife Eve. She is the Mother of all who have eternal life, just as Eve was the mother of all the living.

Rev 21:9–10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

In Revelation John saw the bride of the Lamb, who is described as Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. In Galatians, the Jerusalem that is above is referred to as “our mother.” She is our Mother. We have a Heavenly Mother who gives us eternal life.

So, those who have received the promise of eternal life are the ones who believe in God the Mother. Only the children of Mother can become children of promise like Isaac.

Gal 4:27–31 For it is written: “Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.” Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise . . . Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

In Abraham’s family there were three candidates to inherit his estate: Eliezer—Abraham’s faithful servant, Ishmael—Abraham’s firstborn son by the slave woman Hagar, and Isaac by the free woman Sarah. According to customary law in Israel, the firstborn son in every family had the right to inherit his parents’ estate. However, although Isaac was not the firstborn son of Abraham, he became Abraham’s heir and inherited his estate. God had promised in advance that Isaac, born by Sarah, would become Abraham’s heir.

If Isaac had been born by Hagar, he wouldn’t have been able to inherit Abraham’s estate, would he? Without Sarah, it would have been impossible for Isaac to become Abraham’s heir. It is the same with us. If we had not met Mother, we wouldn’t have been able to become children of promise, no matter how talented and good-natured we were. It is only Mother who has the key to change our destiny. Through our eternal Heavenly Mother, we have eternal life and become God’s heirs. This is our God-given destiny.

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

The Spirit and the Bride are calling human beings, so they can live. The last Adam is a life-giving spirit (1 Co 15:45). The last Eve, the Bride who is to appear with the Spirit—Christ the last Adam who is to come a second time, has also come to this earth as a life-giving spirit.

Heavenly Father and Mother have come in the flesh as the Spirit and the Bride in these last days—the age of the Holy Spirit, and have called us. They take pity on us, human beings, and have changed our destiny from everlasting death to eternal life—from hell to heaven. So the Bible refers to this as “good news.” We should tell all people this good news that the Spirit and the Bride give the water of life.

Shine the light of Jerusalem’s glory

Since God has changed our destiny, we just need to believe and follow the prophecies. God has promised us a glorious destiny.

Isa 60:1–4 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.”

Only light can drive out darkness. Although darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, many people are now being spiritually awakened as the light of truth shines on them. Those who reject Mother who has come to change their destiny from bad to good will be destroyed, as they are destined to be. However, those who receive Heavenly Mother and live in the truth will receive the blessing of eternal life and the title of a royal priesthood in the eternal kingdom of heaven (Isa 60:12; Rev 22:1–5).

Isa 60:21–22 “Then will all your people be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Let us proclaim the light of truth of Jerusalem to all people in the world, so they can come to Zion and change their destiny. Since the earth is a spiritual refuge—a prison, everyone living here on earth suffers to some degree. Heavenly Mother has changed the destiny of us all, so we can always live joyfully on this earth. She has strengthened us who were weak and feeble, and has allowed the smallest to become a mighty nation through the gospel. This prophecy is still coming true.

Eze 47:1–12 The man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar . . . As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross . . . He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Sea. When it empties into the Sea, the water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live . . .”

The sea represents human society (Rev 17:15). The river of the water of life is flowing out from the Temple of Jerusalem. Where the river flows, everything dead comes back to life. Here, we can find the reasons why we should deliver the water of life to the whole world and why we should always be joyful and thankful in everything.

Our destiny has been changed by Mother. She has changed our destiny from death to eternal life and from sinners to royal priests. How happy we are! We should always give thanks and glory to Mother who has come down from heaven to change our destiny. Mother has repeatedly told us to never give up on the kingdom of heaven. As children of promise who are given a glorious destiny through Mother, let us preach this good news boldly and follow the path to heaven joyfully, with good pride and faith.
