The Bible has already predicted how the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven will make progress and be accomplished. God has written everything in the Bible, including the things that are to take place in this age and the processes that we must pass through until we go to Heaven. When we examine them one by one, we can find God’s predestined will that is wonderful.

Then, what prophecy remains to be fulfilled and what should we do now? Father Ahnsahnghong said, “Soldiers move to the sound of the trumpet, and believers move to the sound of prophecy.” Keeping the words of Father deep in mind, we should pay attention to the trumpet sound of prophecy and put God’s laws and regulations into practice, as the holy people of Heaven.

Preach the gospel to all people in the world

God has divided the 6,000 years of redemption into three periods—the Age of the Father, the Age of the Son, and the Age of the Holy Spirit—and has given us a different Savior’s name for each age, and He leads people on the path to salvation. We are now living in the Age of the Holy Spirit. Let’s see what the Bible tells us to do—what kind of mission has been given to us in this age.

Mk 16:15–16 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

Jesus prophesies that whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but that whoever does not believe will be condemned and punished. Here, the object of our faith that determines salvation or punishment is Christ whom we preach and the New Covenant Gospel which Christ has taught us.

The Savior in this age, whom the Bible testifies about, is Christ Ahnsahnghong who has come in Jesus’ new name (Rev 3:12; 2:17). In the Age of the Holy Spirit, whoever believes in the name of Ahnsahnghong and is baptized can be saved.
Let’s see until where the gospel in the Age of the Holy Spirit must be preached, through the trumpet sound of prophecy.

Ro 10:17–18 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

The gospel in the Age of the Holy Spirit never stops being preached, but it is to be preached to the whole world—even to the ends of the earth. God has predestined the gospel to be preached throughout the world, so that no one will fail to be saved without having the chance to hear it.

Go and make disciples of all nations

Let’s find out what the gospel, which must be preached to all people in the world, refers to and whom God entrusts with the mission of preaching the gospel, through the following prophecy.

Mt 28:18–20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

“Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” “Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This is the mission God has given us who are living in the Age of the Holy Spirit, neither the saints in the Old Testament times nor the saints at Jesus’ first coming. It’s because baptizing people in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is only possible in the Age of the Holy Spirit.

The gospel we preach is a command given by God who has all authority in heaven and on earth. God has promised He will be with us until the end of the age if we go and teach His word to all people. We must not be swayed or influenced by what is right in front of us, but pay attention to God’s prophecies and move forward. It is our mission in this age to preach the gospel message powerfully to the ends of the earth, believing God’s promises—prophecies.

The COVID-19 pandemic has completely changed our daily lives. According to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines, many countries have instituted lockdown measures, and people in countries with travel restrictions cannot meet their neighbors, relatives, and family members who are living apart. The Church of God also offers worship services both in church and online to help overcome the national crisis and ensure our members’ safety and health, according to the situation of each region.

Then, what should we do to fulfill our prophetic mission to go and preach the gospel to all people? Is it God’s will for us to just keep silent in times like this, when infectious diseases are widespread and all types of climate disasters continue to occur?

There is no prophecy in the Bible which says that the gospel will stop being preached in a certain situation. The door to the gospel is wide open in any and every situation. Even at this moment, God is waiting with His arms wide open to save all people, as prophesied in the Bible (Ro 10:20–21).

Our members in Zion study the Bible online as they can’t meet face-to-face, and they make video calls to their family members and acquaintances living abroad to say hello to them and preach the truth to them as well. They have pioneered a new way of preaching, believing that the gospel will be preached to Samaria and even to the ends of the earth. They study the Bible and preach the gospel through online systems, unlike before. Seeing them do that, I find out the deep providence of God who tries to save people from disasters.

Pay attention to the word of the prophets made more certain

If we fully believe God’s promises and put them into practice, everything will be accomplished according to the prophecies of the Bible. Every prophetic word in the Bible is trustworthy enough, so we can believe it completely.

2 Pe 1:19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Man’s word can fail, but God’s word never fails. All the prophecies of the Bible are meant to be fulfilled without fail. Jesus Himself taught this fact when He came to this earth 2,000 years ago.

Mt 26:51–56 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” At that time Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” . . .

When a crowd sent from the chief priests and the Pharisees came to arrest Jesus, Peter wielded a sword to protect Jesus and cut off the ear of Malchus, the high priest’s servant. Jesus stopped him, saying, “Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” As He said, Jesus had authority and power to suppress them if He wanted. However, if He had done so, who would have fulfilled the prophecy of the Passover lamb and how would the Scriptures have been fulfilled that said Christ would personally bear the sins of all mankind and become a sin offering?

Jesus told Peter that Bible prophecy was being partially fulfilled by them. They could have arrested Jesus at anytime while He was preaching God’s word for three years. However, they suddenly came to arrest Jesus on the night of the Passover, because the prophesied time had come. So, Jesus willingly surrendered to his arrest, awakening His disciples that every prophecy of the Bible would surely be fulfilled.

Many will go here and there to increase knowledge

Let’s think about the prophecy for our time. God has given us everything we need to go out to the whole world and preach the gospel to all people. There are so many modern conveniences in this age, including airplanes that take us quickly to the other side of the world, as well as computers and smartphones that enable us to communicate even with people who are far away. In the Age of the Holy Spirit when the prophecy of world evangelism is to be fulfilled, science, knowledge, and culture have developed much faster than any previous generation.

Da 12:1–4 “. . . But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

When the book of Daniel was written, no one knew how this prophecy, “Many will go here and there to increase knowledge,” would be fulfilled. In those days, horses were the only means of transportation for people to travel quickly from one place to another. Now, however, there are various modes of transportation connecting the entire world as a one-day life zone, so we can travel around the world hundreds or thousands of times faster than ever before. In the past, most people gained knowledge through books, but now we can get a vast amount of information about what’s happening around the world, just by searching the Internet. We can confirm once again that every prophecy of the Bible is to be fulfilled without fail.

The prophetic mission God has given us in this age is to preach the gospel to all people. The Bible says that those who lead many to righteousness—to Heaven—will receive the glory of shining like the stars for ever and ever. It is up to each individual person to decide whether or not to follow Bible prophecy, but God has already predestined the gospel to be preached to all nations of the world. God has granted us His saving grace and has also opened the way for us to participate in the joy of saving other people. There are still many souls who have not yet heard the good news. Let us diligently preach God’s teachings to them, so that they can go back to Heaven—their eternal home—and we will shine like the stars for ever and ever.

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season

The work of the gospel through which God saves the whole world is meant to be accomplished without fail. God has already prearranged all the channels of the gospel, from beginning to end, and leads us all the way. The gospel is surely to be accomplished. So, we should all participate in it so we can receive the blessings God has prepared for us, shouldn’t we?

2 Ti 4:1–2 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season . . .

These words apply to us who are living in the Age of the Holy Spirit, as well as the saints of the early Church. If we have realized the value of the gospel, we just need to participate in it. The trumpet of prophecy is sounding a clear call to advance, and we must not stand still or retreat. What if we become exhausted and give up midway, just before entering the heavenly Canaan? We will be far away from Heaven.

Rev 22:10–12 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.”

Even at the moment when the prophecy is almost fulfilled, those who do wrong continue to do wrong. However, the holy children of Heaven perform the righteousness of God. Although there is an obstacle, they do not use it as an excuse. It’s because they know that God’s prophecy has the power to defeat any obstacle.

We must remember that we have a definite goal—Heaven. Those who have no goals cannot help but stagger. When the Israelites were living in the desert, they complained to God about having no food and no water. Distracted by the things that happened each day and the words spoken by the people around them, they forgot their original goal—Canaan. However, those who kept their goal in mind just proceeded according to the prophecy, and as a result they were able to enter the promised land flowing with milk and honey.

World evangelism is to be accomplished without fail no matter what hindrances or obstacles may appear, because it has been planned and purposed by God, not by man. God has also prepared heavenly rewards for us, so He can give it to each of us when the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven is accomplished. Since God has promised He will give to everyone according to what he has done, we just have to diligently run toward Heaven with faith no matter what circumstances we face.

There are two kinds of people when it comes to facing a seemingly impossible situation: those who give up, and those who turn it into an opportunity, changing the way they think. A shoe company sent two salesmen to Africa to find an opportunity to sell shoes. When they arrived there, they couldn’t see anybody wearing shoes. They investigated and reported back to the head office. One of them said, “We can’t sell shoes here.” The other said, “No one here is wearing shoes. So, there is a huge market for us.” The company accepted the opinion of the second salesman and successfully promoted the importance and convenience of wearing shoes, opening up new markets in Africa.

Just as the company supported the person who saw potential even in a difficult situation, God gives power to the person who tries to do something. He has promised to be with us when we pass through the waters and when we walk through the fire. If we believe this promise, we can receive God’s help even in dangerous conditions and circumstances. However, if we hesitate, making various excuses, we can hardly experience the work of the Holy Spirit.

We must move to the trumpet sound of prophecy. According to Bible prophecy, the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven will surely be preached to the ends of the earth. Since the trumpet of prophecy sounds the call to “arise and shine,” we must not drift away from the blessings of Heaven. As warriors of faith, let us pay attention to the trumpet sound of prophecy and keep in step with it, just as Gideon’s 300 warriors kept silent when they were told to hide the torches inside the jars and broke the jars and shouted all at once when they were told to arise and shout.

Today, we hear the news of disasters from all over the globe. God has opened wide the door of salvation by giving us various ways to preach even in this difficult situation. Let us not neglect the mission of preaching the gospel, using obstacles as an excuse, but try to find God-given opportunities. Our heavenly family members in Zion! Let us follow the will of God, who considers one soul more precious than the whole world, and work even harder to lead many people to righteousness, so we can all participate in the glory of Heaven together.
