As part of the Global Leadership Conference for Women Pastoral Staff, a global conference on the happy church was held at a seminar room in the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple on April 28, 2019, to discuss the roles and attitudes of the women pastoral staff in making happy churches with the members.
On April 27, 2019, the Global Leadership Conference for the Women Pastoral Staff was held at the Pangyo New Jerusalem Temple in Korea. The program lasted for five days, attended by the women pastoral staff from 400 Korean churches and from 52 countries including the U.S., Peru, Philippines, Mongolia, and India.
The seven feasts in three times in 2019 have begun with the sacred assembly of the Passover in the evening of April 18 (the fourteenth day of the first month by the sacred calendar). The Feast of Unleavened Bread was celebrated on the following day—April 19 (the fifteenth day of the first month by the sacred calendar), and the Day of Resurrection on April 21 (the day after the first Sabbath following the Feast of Unleavened Bread.) The Church of God members in 175 countries participated in the feasts of the new covenant, following the example of Christ.
On April 6, 2019, the Global Conference on Happy Family was held at the seminar room of the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple. Pastoral staff members from around the world gathered to help the church members and citizens live a happy family life.
On April 4, 2019, when the General Assembly was in full swing, the Arise & Shine Global Bible Seminar 2019 was held at the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple. It was organized with the aim of helping people know the truth of the new covenant and leading them to salvation. The pastoral staff members from all around the world and the members from nearby regions attended the seminar, filling the main worship hall and the subsidiary facilities including the seminar room.
General Assembly 2019 started at the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple in the presence of the Holy Spirit on April 1, four days before the New Year’s Day by the sacred calendar (April 5). The pastoral staff from all over the world attended the General Assembly held under the slogan, “Give people hope through world evangelism,” to see the brilliant gospel results of 2018 and have a vision for 2019.
The Chicago Church in IL, U.S. held the Family Appreciation Day on March 17, 2019. The members prepared the event to show their appreciation, apology, and love, which they couldn’t express due to busy schedules, to their families and relatives.
On March 10, 2019, when there was a welcome spring rain, the Semester Opening Service for University Students 2019 was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute in Korea. It is one of the Church of God’s annual events for the college student members to help them focus on their studies and fulfill their dreams with upright faith.
The first dedication service in 2019 was held at the Jung-gu Church in Ulsan on February 7, right after the Lunar New Year holidays. On February 8 and 10, the dedication services were held at the Yeongdo Church in Busan and the Uichang Church in Changwon. With joyful faces, the members attended the dedication services and engraved on their minds the duties of the saints and the church, giving thanks to God for granting them new temples.
Celebrating the 101st birth anniversary of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the 73rd Overseas Visiting Group came to Korea from 62 churches in 10 countries of five continents—Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Europe.
